This is a nice sport coat. It is nice quality and feels like a sturdy coat. Meaning it isn't made of thin material and doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart. The fit is right in line with different suit and sport coats that I wear. I have 38R and 40R (slim cut) jackets, but since I'm not as fit as I used to be, the 40R in this coat feels very nice. It is your typical R fit, with square shoulders and square back. When buttoned, it wraps around your waist nicely and does not feel tight but is also not too "baloon-ish". The lapel pocket is stitched closed, so this is nice if you don't like a pocket square, but the pocket is there so you can remove the stitches if that is your thing. The inside breast pocket has a zipper on it. This is interesting and is my first coat to have this. I can't say that this is something I was needing, as these pockets tend to hold on to the parking passes, sunglasses, or business cards gathered during my last wearing. I will typically wear a sport coat about once a week, and a suit once or twice a month for different work events or social events. I'm happy to have this in my rotation. It goes great with a pair of dress pants. For a day in the office, this sport coat is working good. It is comfortable and flexible. It is heavier in weight, which gives a bit more warmth. This is fine for me as they keep my office ICE COLD, but it may not be as comfortable in the warmer months when the event is outside. TBD. I've now worn this a couple of times to the office and I'm very satisfied with the fit and comfort. I'm happy with this sport coat.
Pretty outstanding blazer that travels well. I really enjoy the material, it's weighty enough but light, and doesn't have an overly firm shoulder pad area. Very high-quality coat for the price (the price does fluctuate madly, so if you can get this in the $130 ish mark, it's a great value). Wish the black would become available, I'd happily buy that too.
This jacket is perfect! I ordered this for my husband and took a chance by looking at the sizes – height and weight in the reviews. It fit like a glove! And looks so nice on him. My husband is 5'10 and 177 pounds. I highly recommend this! Great value for the money!
